A visit is tracked and evaluated only for the following DS (Distribution Staff) roles:
Conv SR
RMD
Stockist
Emerging DS
Each outlet has a fixed latitude & longitude.
A geo-fence radius of 100 meters is applied around the outletβs exact lat-long.
If the DS device location falls within this 100-meter radius, the system treats the DS as present at the outlet location.
π Source of lat-long:
Captured at the time of outlet creation, or
Updated when the outlet address is edited
A DS visit will be tracked only after:
Attendance is marked, and
Day Start is completed
If Day Start is not done, outlet visits will not be counted even if the DS is physically present.
To qualify as a Valid Auto Outlet visit:
The DS must remain within the 100-meter geo-fence
For a minimum continuous duration of 2 minutes
If the DS exits the radius before 2 minutes β visit is NOT counted.
An outlet is marked as Visited only when all the following conditions are met:
| Condition | Required |
|---|---|
| DS type | Must be valid (Conv SR / RMD / Stockist / Emerging DS) |
| Attendance | Marked |
| Day Start | Completed |
| Distance from outlet | Within 100 meters |
| Time spent | β₯ 2 minutes continuously |
| Outlet geo-location | Available (lat-long exists) |
A DS day is considered Qualified Attendance only if all conditions below are satisfied:
β Minimum 20 outlet visits (as per visit logic above)
β Minimum 6 hours market time
Calculated from Day Start β Day End
β Mandatory Day End action completed
β If any one of the above is missing β attendance is NOT qualified
GPS accuracy depends on device & network; system strictly checks distance + time, not manual intent.
Staying near the outlet without Day Start will not count.
