Party Not Showing at “Nearby Parties” in the App

📝 Description

In the Breeze FSM app, the Nearby Parties list displays only those shops/parties that:

  • Are within a 100-meter radius of the user's current location

  • Have been properly geo-tagged

  • Are assigned to the logged-in user

If a shop/party is missing from the “Nearby Parties” list, one or more of these conditions may not be met.


⚠️ Issue Observed

Party is not showing under ‘Nearby Parties’ in the Breeze FSM mobile app.

Possible Reasons

  1. 📍 Shop is Not Properly Geo-tagged

    • If the party was created from the backend without latitude/longitude, it won’t appear in Nearby Parties.

  2. 📵 User is Not Physically Near the Shop

    • The app only shows parties within 100 meters (geofence).

    • If you’re far, the party won’t appear.

  3. 👤 Shop is Not Tagged to the Current User

    • If the party is assigned to another user, it won’t appear in your Nearby Parties list, even if you’re within range.


🔁 Step 1: Go Near the Shop

  • Stand within 100 meters of the shop.

  • Refresh the app and check Nearby Parties again.

📍 Step 2: Verify Party Assignment

  • App → Left Menu → Parties → Search by name.

  • If not visible, it’s not assigned to you — contact your admin to map it.

👥 Step 3: Check and Update Geo-tagging

  • App → Parties → Search party → Update Address.

  • Ensure the current location is correct and tap Update.

  • Then, go to Nearby Parties and verify it appears.


⚠️ Important Notes

  • Backend-created parties without geo-tagging won’t appear.

  • GPS location permission must be ON for the Breeze FSM app.

  • Mobile data should be active for location tracking.

  • You must be physically near the shop for it to be listed.
